I've scheduled two trips to the cannery this year for our ward, so let me know as soon as you know if you want to be put on the list to go. Space is limited to 15-20 people. Bring closed-toed shoes, your completed order form, and your checkbook. Be sure to put these dates on your calender!

3. Set a goal or deadline to get at least one thing done or started that we talked about today before our next E-prep class on Jan. 31 (next week is Stake Conference)! **tell someone your goal--either a friend or spouse in the class--we'll report next time!**
4. Be ready to share any gardening/canning secrets you have next time!!

What to include in an OUTAGE KIT
Every home should have an outage kit.
Basics should include:

- battery-powered radio
- wind-up or battery-powerd alarm clock
- extra batteries
- manuel can-opener
- a copy of the PGE "How to Prepare for a Power Outage" brochure (click on link)
- (I also included candles and a box of matches as well)
Remember to change batteries periodically.

Our Ward Emergency Preparedness Class begins January 17th! You MUST sign-up to come to this class! The class is only six weeks long then it will start again with new ward members.
